This weekend marked the last days of work at the paper plant in Elmvale.
The Transcontinental Bayweb site on William Street closed up shop yesterday.
The plant printed flyers, inserts and direct mail products for retail and commercial customers and also prints newspapers and magazines.
Production is being transferred to other Transcontinental Printing plants in Brampton, Toronto and Owen Sound.
Bayweb was established in 1989 and as of June of last year, employed around 175 people.
