A 19 year old from Mildmay has been crowned Miss Midwest Ontario.
Jackie Burgess beat out 24 other girls aged 17 to 23 to win the title in Walkerton last night.
The first runner-up is 18 year old Candace Alexander of Paisley.
The second runner-up and winner of the Miss Congeniality award is 19 year old Linda Slits of Perth County.
11 year old Victoria Ireland of Teeswater won the title of Ontario Little Miss Princess last night — beating out 10 other girls aged 8 to 12.
The first runner-up is 10 year old Kaylee Hughes of Lucknow.
The Friendship Award went to 11 year old Sarah Hudson of Walkerton.
There were also past Queens on hand for the last 15 years.
