Police are warning local merchants to be on the lookout for counterfeit money.
This after a bank in Owen Sound called Police about a fake 50 dollar Canadian bill.
Police say the serial number on the fake 50 dollar bank note was the same as a counterfeit 50 found in April in Grey County.
Its origin is unknown.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the phony money to call them or Crime Stoppers.
