Slow and steady – is the best way to describe the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce On Line Job Board.
General Manager Joanne Robbins says since launching it three and a half months ago, about twenty chamber members have taken advantage of it.
Robbins says the Chamber itself hired all five summer students through the on line job board.
She admits it will take time before using it it becomes common practice among all members.
Robbins says usage is taking place, mainly among younger and summer job seekers, who are used to using the internet for their job searches.
She expects as more members use the service, and find success, others will follow suit and traffic will pick up.
The on line job board is available for chamber members to post on free of charge- and for anyone to find a job on.
