Collingwood’s G and M hospital has been given some financial help to improve its patient services.
Hospital CEO Linda Davis tells Bayshore Broadcasting News Simcoe County has confirmed it will give the facility 1.95 million dollars.
Davis says the hospital foundation is also expected to commit some money for a project that will be just over 4 million in total.
She says the plans are to move some administrative office space around to expand the emergency room and give more privacy to patients in triage.
Davis says there will also be more space in the dialysis unit and better flow and recovery time in the O.R. by moving the endoscopy suite.
