Grey County OPP have made two arrests in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Markdale on September 30th of last year.
That is when two masked men held up the Shell Gas Bar on Toronto Street.
The male attendant, aware that he was about to be robbed, fled the kiosk and ran to an open variety store across the street where he requested police be called.
The suspects were last seen fleeing east, behind the business before they disappeared into the darkness.
The cash register had been opened and an undisclosed amount of money was
taken.
As a result of the police probe — two Grey Highlands men, 25 year old Brandon Kurst and 18 year old Jessie Humphrys were arrested Friday at a Markdale residence.
They both are facing robbery with violence charges.
A third male suspect, age 18, who resides in the Township of Chatsworth has been identified and a warrant is being sought for his arrest.
