Quite the financial boost for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Representatives of the Bruce Power Local of the Society of Energy Professionals recently presented it with a 10 thousand dollar donation.
The money helps officials buy a Nursecall system for the Southampton Hospital.
A “Nursecall system” allows for the immediate notification of a patient’s needs and communicates directly with the patient to let them know that care is on the way.
The cost of one is 73 thousand dollars, and so far more than 43 thousand (prior to this donation) has been raised.
