These two women are definitely not in the running for mother of the year award.
Grey County OPP Tuesday evening stopped two separate women in two separate vehicles for drinking and driving, with their young children in the vehicles.
In response to a traffic complaint just before 8 PM on Tuesday an officer stopped a pickup truck on Highway 10 between Markdale and Flesherton.
The female driver accompanied by 2 young children was arrested for impaired operation.
She resisted arrest and a quantity of marijuana was seized.
A Niagara Falls woman faces numerous charges including driving with out a licence.
Meanwhile, a few hours later, acting on a citizen complaint an officer stopped
a mini van, on Highway 10 south of Chatsworth.
The female driver was accompanied by four children, from toddler to 7 years
old.
Open liquor was seized from the van and the driver failed a roadside screening test.
The South Bruce Peninsula woman also facing numerous charges
In both cases the Children’s Aid Society was contacted to look after the children after their mothers were arrested.
