OPP are reminding motorists to take it easy on the roads when they’re travelling for Canada Day celebrations.
Police are anticipating there will be a significant increase in the use of area roads on July 1st, and drivers should allow time for congested routes or closures.
Motorists are also encouraged to make sure their cars are in good condition before hitting the roads.
And OPP want people to “pack a little patience” for their trip as well.
