The Mayor of South Bruce Peninsula wants to hold a huge music concert again.
Gwen Gilbert says the Big Music Fest held Saturday at the Wiarton Keppel International Airport was a huge success.
About 15 thousand people attended the show and Gilbert says she was pleased with the outcome.
There were some crowded spaces and long line-ups at concessions — but Gilbert says the event ran smoothly and the venue was perfect.
Gilbert says the only thing they would change is add more buses for the shuttle service.
She says they were surprised and overwhelmed by the number of people who wanted to take the shuttle to the concert from Wiarton, Owen Sound, Meaford, Port Elgin and Sauble Beach.
The cleanup at the airport started on Sunday and ended Monday.
Gilbert credits the co-operation between the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, Georgian Bluffs and the Airport committee for hosting a good event.
Gilbert says the committee will review all aspects of the concert with organizers but she hopes they can make the show an annual event.
