Bruce Peninsula OPP were kept busy over the weekend with several incidents.
Officers were called after a rented canoe overturned in Dorcus Bay.
Three people from outside the region, were flipped into the water and were unable to right the canoe.
The trio were able to swim to shore before police and ambulance arrived on the scene, thanks in large part to the fact that they were all wearing life jackets.
From the water to the roadway — a 34 year old London woman was charged with dangerous driving and driving while under suspension after police were alerted to a stolen vehicle from Purple Valley Sunday morning.
The car was spotted speeding down Bruce Road 10 south of Hepworth a short time later.
Police managed to stop the driver south of Alvanley.
The woman had her 16 year old daughter in the back along with a 15 year old friend.
And Bruce Peninsula officers were also called Sunday afternoon with a report of a bear trying to get into the window of a cottage.
The animal was gone before police arrived.
