Decorating your home just got easier; there is a new business in Port Elgin – called August Skies.
Co-Owner Carol Brown says she and her business partner, Carol McKnight recently came up with the idea, and within months were up and running.
They are located in the former Curves location on Goderich Street.
Brown says they have indoor and outdoor decor items available for purchase and also offer consultanting services.
She says they are proud to carry items unique to Saugeen Shores and think people will be pleasantly surprised at what their home can look like with a bit of guidance.
Brown says they can help with ideas for just one room, to an entire house, and do make house calls.
The store opens today and will be open Monday through Wednesday 10 AM – 6 PM, Thursday and Friday 10 AM – 9 PM, Saturday 9 AM – 5 PM and Sunday 12 PM – 4 PM.
Brown boasts that coffee, lemonade and cookies will always be served, as part of unique touch to welcome patrons.
