The daughter of Penny Warne is preparing to mark an anniversary she never dreamed she’d have to.
It will be exaclty four months on Thursday since Penny was last seen.
Amy Warne tells Bayshore Broadcasting News she just wants to know what happened to her mom.
She adds she doesn’t know if she’ll ever see her mom again.
Huronia West OPP tells us the case is still open and they continue to investigate Penny Warne’s disappearance, though officers aren’t actually out searching anymore.
The 57 year old woman was last seen leaving work at Wal-mart on February 11th.
Amy Warne says she misses her mom and that was evident at Amy’s recent wedding to Stephen Pucovsky.
Amy tells us there was an empty seat during the ceremony in Windsor on May 23rd.
A picture of Penny was also displayed, surrounded by her favourite chocolates.
Amy Warne says she still takes things one day at a time.
