There’s a new home for Hanover’s St. John Ambulance House.
The Ambulance House will be moving across the street behind the Kinette Totland Park.
The move is necessary in order to accommodate the upcoming Hanover Raceway expansion in which a 500 seat banquet hall will be constructed.
The Raceway will be responsible for the costs incurred by the move.
St. John Ambulance officials are currently debating whether to re-locate the existing building or to construct new.
Meanwhile the Raceway expansion also means the relocation of Hanover Tennis Courts as well as the Kinnette Totland Park.
One possible relocation site being considered for the Tennis Courts is back behind the Hanover Ball Diamonds.
The Raceway banquet hall construction project will get underway next September.
