Sweet and savoury.
That describes the upcoming Chocolate Gala that will be hosted by the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre.
Spokesperson Mini Jacques says this is the 3rd annual edition featuring the best in regional chocolate makers along, coupled with delights from bakers in the region and from restaurants and meat markets in Bruce and Grey.
Close to 15 vendors have already signed up and Jacques says she expects a few more before the event on Saturday, June 6th.
It will run from 8 PM to Midnight at the museum.
Jacques says the gala, which is casual in dress, will feature the best the area has to offer in sweet and savoury delights.
She says it’s a bit of a fundraiser for the museum should there be any money left over.
That money would go towards future projects at the venue.
Tickets for the Chocolate Gala, Sweet and Savoury are 25 dollars for non museum members and 20 dollars for members.
Jacques says they would like an idea of the number coming by Friday so that they can have the vendors plan accordingly.
And yes there will be a cash bar–which will include three chocolate based cocktails.
There will also be other beverages offered.
