There has not been a lot of fighting in the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs — and some people wonder if the sport would be better without it completely.
But as Bayshore Broadcasting News Reporter Manny Paiva tells us — the majority of listeners like the idea.
We recently asked people whether they thought fighting should be allowed in the sport of hockey.
Well over 100 people responded to the two week internet survey on our website — and 58 per cent support a ban on fighting.
Many people felt it had no place in the sport — especially after the death of senior hockey player Don Sanderson earlier this year.

Sports Illustrated also completed a poll with NHL players about fighting in the game and a whopping 99 per cent feel fighting should not be banished.
