The annual Flesherton Community Awards Celebration is being held at the Kinplex tonight.
Sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce, the event celebrates the accomplishments of those who have made significant contributions to the community.
Fawcett Funeral home is to receive the “Archie Bernard Business of the Year” award tonight.
Fawcett is now a third generation family business, marking it’s 50th anniversary this year.
Vice President Flesherton and District chamber of commerce Barbara MacKay says the Senior of the Year award is going to Margaret Pawson.
The Citizen of the year is Margaret Russell who volunteers with the Flesherton library.
The awards evening is partnered with a silent auction in support of the South Grey Museum in Flesherton.
Items will be on display at 5:30 PM — with the social hour at 6 PM tonight.
