It appears people are returning to the area for the good weather but have problems dealing with the $1.50 bag tag charge in Saugeen Shores.
Saugeen Shores police responded to a report of people dumping their garbage in the dumpsters at the Southampton Tim Horton’s and along Highway 21 at the division of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation on the Holiday Monday afternoon.
Police Chief Dan Rivett says we have to keep our community clean and he urges anyone to call police if they see someone dumping garbage illegally.
He says if the perpetrators are identified, they will be charged.
