A public meeting is being held at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound tonight.
The draft report on the first phase of Upper Great Lakes Study will be presented.
The first two years of the five year study, sponsored by the international joint commission, focused on physical changes in the St Clair River and the impact on water levels in the upper lakes.
A series of meetings over the next few weeks in the great lakes regions will give people the opportunity to hear about the process and the findings, and provide their comment.
Tonight’s presentation will be done via a video link with groups in Sarnia and Michigan.
The public meeting runs from 7 to 9 PM at the Bayshore.
