Dinosaurs are coming to Southampton this summer, thanks to Ontario Power Generation (OPG).
The company has contributed 10 thousand dollars to the Bruce County Museum for what’s being billed as this summer’s blockbuster exhibit–Dinosaur’s Invade Bruce County.
The exhibit features life-like re-creations of seven types of dinosaur along with interactive activities including “dig a fossil.”
OPG Senior Communications Advisor Linda Cain says the company has supported the museum since its inception and renovation project. A gallery at the musuem bares the Ontario Power Generation name.
Cain says OPG sponsors the future exhibit at the museum every summer and believes it will be a great draw for tourists and visitors from across Bruce County.
Museum Curator Barbara Ribey says the corporate support allows them to really raise the bar in terms of exhibit quality.
She says the exhibit is from Texas and its tour to Bruce County will be its first Canadian appearance.
The Dinosaur Uproar exhibit at the Bruce County Museum officially opens to the public today.
