Program cuts could mean more layoffs at the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
Our Medical Officer of Health Doctor Hazel Lynn has notified the board that a tobacco-related program will no longer be funded.
Instead, the health unit will have to apply for grants which even if approved may not arrive in time.
Doctor Lynn cannot provide more details about the program and the potential layoffs until she receives the official word early next week.
