Hanover and Brockton are hosting a Goods Exchange Week from May 15th to the 22nd.
This free municipal wide side walk sale is a great opportunity for everyone to exchange reusable household items such as furniture, appliances and children’s toys.
Hanover Councilor Peter Hambly encourages residents to participate in the Goods Exchange Week.
Participants should put their reusable items at the end of their curb and clearly mark them as free.
Hambly says this is a great way to reduce the number of items that end up at the landfill.
He says the old adage is true ‘ one man’s trash really is another man’s treasure’.
It’s Hambly’s hope there will be a lot of treasure hunters out this week.
The Goods Exchange Week runs from Friday May 15th to Friday May 22nd.
Any items left at the curb after “Goods Exchange Week” must be removed by the Property Owner.
