The 2009 Fish Kincardine Derby gets underway tonight.
Things get underway at 6 PM with an appreciation dinner for sponsors and a kickoff party later in the evening.
The derby continues until Sunday, May 24th with special days for children, ladies, and seniors.
The prize is five thousand dollars for the top salmon, and five thousand dollars for the top trout.
All activities for the Fish Kincardine Derby are centered around the harbour area.
