Steelback Brewery of Tiverton is celebrating its first anniversary since its re-launch.
The president of the brewery Ian MacDonald says a lot has happened in the past 12 months.
He says one of the most important things is the consumer’s choice, especially the ones in Bruce County, to give the brewery another chance.
MacDonald says it was a ‘great hill’ to climb but thanks to the customers and the great team at Steelback, they are where they are today.
Looking ahead MacDonald says they hope to have their own packaging unit on line in Tiverton by early Spring next year.
He says if all goes well, it will likely create more local jobs at the brewery.
MacDonald says with the first anniversary being a traditional paper anniversary, the brewery is going to save the customer some paper money.
He says for the next few weeks, the cost of most regular priced cases of Steelback will be reduced by five dollars.
