Almost all the power is back on in Grey and Bruce Counties — as of 6 PM.
Hydro one says the overnight blast of strong wind knocked down numerous power lines and earlier today 24 thousand people in the province were without hydro.
Over the last hour or some, many in the Bruce county area had their power restored and Hydro One now says a few people are still off.
Meanwhile, there were about 15 hundred people without electricity on the Bruce Peninsula, and to the south of Owen Sound around 4:30 PM today.
They are served by the Owen Sound sub-station.
Hydro One now says only about 50 customers in that area remain without power.
