Mediation talks between Community Living Kincardine & District management and CUPE are set for 10:00 a.m. tomorrow at the Kincardine Best Western Inn.
Forty-three employees of CLKD are members of CUPE Local 3315 and are in a legal strike/lockout position on May 20th if no agreement is reached tomorrow.
CUPE National Representative Jim Keenan says the union is expecting a full response from the employer on all outstanding issues at tomorrow’s meeting.
Keenan says the remaining issues include wages, benefits and job protection.
The CKLD facility is a not-for-profit organization providing support to people with developmental disabilities in the Town of Kincardine and the Townships of Kincardine, Huron and Bruce.
