You may have noticed some scaffolding in front of Collingwood’s town hall this week.
The heritage building is getting a bit of a spring cleaning and some restoration.
Mayor Chris Carrier says the town is leading by example is preserving the building so it’s there for years to come.
Carrier says workers are re-pointing some bricks and fixing some issues with the mortar.
Mayor Carrier expects the work to be done in two weeks, but the scaffolding at the entrance will likely come down in a few days.
But in the meantime, while the scaffolding is up, you can still go into the building through the front doors.
