Students from across Ontario took part in a series of contests at the 20th Ontario Technological skills competition in Waterloo.
It was held at RIM park in Waterloo on May 4th and 5th and students from the Owen Sound area took home 3 medals.
Rae Scott of Chatsworth won a gold medal in the contest for Heating systems technicians.
Darren Schihl of Chatsworth took home a silver medal for Sheet medal work.
And Nathan Wardrop of Port Elgin won a Bronze for his welding work.
Over the course of the 2 days, more than 16 hundred students from School boards, Colleges and Training facilities demonstrated their strengths in designing, building and rapairs.
Over 30 thousand spectators visited RIM park in Waterloo to check out the Ontario Skills competition this week.
