A standoff involving two men in Dundalk and the OPP, ended peacefully about 10:30 Thursday night.
It all started around Noon in the village when a woman from the SPCA went to a home on a complaint filed with the agency.
While there two men argued with her, and one brandished a knife threatening her with death.
She reported the incident to the OPP who arrived on the scene and decided to lock-down the Dundalk and Proton community school which was nearby.
Students were kept in the school and then transferred to High Point school for busing home.
OPP media relations officer Steve Starr says they tried to communicate with the men in the house, but there was no response so the area was cordoned off.
After several hours of ongoing negotiations two male suspects emerged from the home at about 10:30 pm and were taken into custody without incident. The investigation is continuing.
No names have been released or charges laid at this point.
Grey County OPP say no one was injured.
