A female driver found that out recently.
Police say they received a complaint about an erratic driver on Highway 21 between Tiverton and Port Elgin and headed towards Port Elgin.
The vehicle in question was seen wandering all over the road and at one point forced an oncoming vehicle onto the shoulder of the road.
Saugeen Shores police stopped the vehicle in the municipality, expecting to be dealing with a drunk driver.
The female who has been charged with careless driving, admitted she had been talking on her cell phone and sending text messages and had not been drinking at all.
