A couple of “high milers” are on ice after having their vehicles impounded in the past couple of weeks.
On April 29th, police pegged a Saugeen Shores man doing 158 kmh in an 80-zone on Highway 21.
And on May 2nd, an SUV was clocked doing 134 kmh in an 80-zone on Bruce Road 3.
In this case, the vehicle ended up in a ditch as the driver tried to evade police.
In both cases, the drivers were charged under the Highway Traffic Act and both had their vehicles impounded for seven days.
