Four families have been chosen to be the recipients of the next Habitat for Humanity build in Wiarton.
They were introduced Monday.
Director of affiliate operations Lucy Gowers says four families will eventually move into two semi-detached homes that will be constructed in Wiarton.
Gowers says the families have met the qualifications and will be investing time in the building of the structures as well.
She says the homes are not free but are offered to the families in an interest-free mortgage.
Gowers says this build will be a special one because the families are from the Wiarton area or have ties to the community.
She says the build will take place this summer and the keys to the new homes will be handed over to the families on Thanksgiving weekend.
A sod-turning ceremony will be held next week with the actual build to start a few weeks later.
