A lot of summer residents of Grey Bruce are returning to the area this spring, and are probably are wondering who has been sleeping in their beds.
They are finding their seasonal homes have been broken into and valuables have been stolen.
The latest occurred north of Woodford in Meaford this weekend, when a homowner discovered a break in.
The theves helped themselves to numerous bottles of alcohol and also made off with electronic eqipment and a chainsaw.
To the south — a Grey Highlands woman in the Maxwell area, found an unknown male sleeping in her unlocked vehicle early Saturday morning.
The intoxicated male was uncooperative when awoken, although at one point he did exit the car and try to open the door to the house, before returning to the confines of the car.
Police arrested the man who had inadvertently urinated on the seat in the vehicle at some point during his sleep.
An 18 year-old Southgate man was arrested for Public Intoxication and
Trespassing.
Again police urging people to lock up their vehicles.
