The President of the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture is pushing again to increase the farm business registration fee.
They have had the same fee for the past 16 years and Lorne Underwood says they want to increase the fee from 165 dollars to close to 200 dollars.
Leona Dombrowsky, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs says she has been very clear with the Federation, Christian Farmers and the National Farmers Union about increased fees.
She says they need to demonstrate to her that the matter has been taken to concession roads where those farmers have been informed and involved in a vote on the issue.
Until the farmers on concession roads support an increase, Dombrowsky says she will not act.
She says everyone in the membership has to be given an opportunity to have a say.
