Students are used to pulling all nighters — but this one will also help raise money for a good cause.
The United Way of Bruce Grey is holding its 7th Annual Starlight Film Festival at Galaxy Cinemas in Owen Sound.
Executive Director Francesca Dobbyn says it starts at midnight and goes until about 7:30 AM tomorrow morning.
They’re showing four movies and supplying unlimited popcorn and beverages as well as free video games in the lobby.
The tickets, with proceeds going to local youth initiatives, cost 20 dollars each.
Dobbyn says they’ve got buses coming in from Dundalk and Walkerton and are expecting another good turn out.
The all night film festival is for students 14 to 18 only.
Dobbyn says as usual — they’ll have chaperones, police and first aid available.
