A new law that starts today calls for a minimum of a 3 day suspension instead of a 12 hour suspension for blowing a “warning” during a roadside breath test.
That means if you register a reading between .05 and .08 — you will be given a 3 day suspension.
Your licence will also be seized and returned to the Ministry of Transportation.
It’s going to make your wallet lighter as well, a penalty fee of 150 dollars will be added by the Ministry.
