A meeting is set to go tomorrow in Owen Sound on organic farming.
Called “Food Freedom 2” — it is being held at the Central Westside United Church from 11 AM until 5 PM.
Oranizers hope to create a self-sufficient local economy based on truly organic agriculture.
One of the guest speakers is raw milk producer Michael Schmidt.
He has been battling in the courts for the right to sell his raw milk at the farm-gate with a ruling likely next Month in a Newmarket court.
Schmidt is speaking between Noon and 1 PM.
Also on hand is Freeman Boyd, the co-ordinator of the Grey Bruce local food project.
His comments and question and answers will run from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM.
