About 120 Owen Sound home care workers have reached a tentative three deal with Red Cross.
The agreement covers a total of three thousand workers across the province.
The announcement ends the rotating strikes that have been held across Ontario since March 20th — including two in Owen Sound.
The key issue was compensation for travel time between home care visits.
The Service Employees International Union says some ground was made on that front.
Modest gains were also made in wages and benefits.
It’s expected to take about three weeks to hold ratification votes.
The home care workers provide services to seniors, those with disabilities or recovering from surgery as well as children with special needs.
