An autopsy on 29 year old Nick Dusome hasn’t uncovered new information.
OPP say it was inconclusive, and are waiting on results from toxicology tests.
His body and boat were found on Monday.
Dusome and his 14 foot aluminum boat vanished after a night at a bar in Penetang more than a week ago. His family reported him missing last Monday.
OPP Constable Peter Leon says the toxicology tests will probably take about 2-3 weeks to complete.
He says they are working on getting the boat out of the water, and it’s in about 26 feet of water.
Leon says hopefully they’ll be able to shine more light on the investigation once the boat is retrieved.
He says the public’s help was great, and the hours they spend on the hours made it a real community initiative, but the only regret is that the searchers weren’t able to locate Nick Dusome, and get him home to his family.
