Another good local business story — this time from Meaford.
The Candle Factory and Gift Shop has expanded again.
Owner Diane Ellah says they’ve doubled their retail space and increased their product line.
She believes the secret to their success, especially during these tight economic times is maintaining the quality of their candles, good customer service and keeping prices reasonable.
The Candle Factory employs 13 people and Ellah hopes to add at least one more position in the fall.
She says they do the majority of their business between August and December.
