Minor smoke damage at the Kincardine Canadian Tire following a fire.
Crews were called out to the store just after midnight on Saturday.
Upon arrival — smoke was found in the garage area – and further investigation lead
firefighters to a suspected overheated power washer unit.
The garage area contained the largest amount of smoke while the store area and offices also acquired minor smoke damage.
Firefighters left the scene at just before 2:30 AM.
One firefighter received a minor muscle strain while at the scene and was treated and released at Kincardine Hospital.
The situation is still under investigation.
