A very special show being held in Owen Sound this weekend.
Its the second annual “Gimme Shelter” production supporting this year’s Habitat for Humanity build in Wiarton.
Its the brain child of local musician and comedy writer Rob McLean.
He describes the show as a review type variety show featuring a fast paced mix of comedy and music.
McLean has drafted the help of several local musicians including Lars Jensen and Tanglefoot’s own Steve Ritchie.
Some of the comedy and improv will be handled by Terry Hart who’s appeared in more than a hundred national commercials, and has numerous TV and film credits to his name.
Also on the bill again this year will be the comedy stylings of Bayshore Broadcasting’s General Manager Ross Kentner.
The event is being held Sunday night at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound.
Tickets are 25 dollars each and are available at the box office or by calling Habitat for Humanity.
