Friday is when golfers can hit the links at Monterra Golf at Blue Mountain Resort.
The resort says they are counting on the weather being co-operative for them.
The first tee time will be 9 AM.
Temperatures for the weekend are expected to be hovering around 20 degrees.
A number of other golf courses have already opened in the region.
