The Blue Mountains is doing its part to help local young people get a job in the food and beverage industry.
The town, along with several community partners, is hosting a day-long workshop today — called “Passport to Restaurant Careers”.
Its geared to those 17 to 30 years old to help them understand the career opportunities available.
Blue Mountains officials say the food and beverage industry is now a key component of their local economy and they’re looking for young people to consider seriously their options for employment.
