Dwight Howard dominated the N-B-A’s Defensive Player of the Year voting in the same manner he dominates the paint.
The Orlando Magic centre was the overwhelming winner of the award, picking up 105 of 119 first-place votes.
He led the Magic to 59 regular-season wins and became only the fifth player to top the league in blocks and rebounds in the same season.
At 23, Howard is the youngest player to win the award.
