Another home game for the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks in their quest for the WOAA “AA” Senior Mens Hockey Championship Title.
The Winterhawks host game three tonight against Tavistock and head coach Don Matheson says they are ready.
He says a two nothing series lead is not a guarantee they’ll win the championship so tonight is another crucial game.
Matheson believes the Royals were tired for the first two games in the series, having just come off back to back seven game series, and thinks they’ll see a chippier team tonight.
He says since the games in Saugeen Shores switched to Southampton, the Winterhaks been practicing twice a week.
Saugeen Shores has a two nothing series lead over the Royals.
Tonight’s game is at 8:30 PM at the Coliseum in Southampton.
Game four is Sunday night in Tavistock.
