Visitor restrictions have now been completely lifted at Collingwood’s G and M hospital, after they were put in place due to a gastro-intestinal outbreak.
Vice President of Patient Services Linda MacLeod says they’re grateful for the patience of family and friends who wanted to visit patients in the hospital.
Restrictions were partially lifted last week, but the hospital wasn’t letting anyone under the age of 12 in at the time due to the stomach bug.
Visiting hours are from 1 PM to 8:30 PM, and visitors to the emergency department can only see patients one at a time still, however.
Children also must be accompanied by an adult.
