Several area festivals and events are sharing 11 million dollars in Provincial funding in this year’s edition of Celebrate Ontario.
Owen Sound’s The Sound of Summer festival in May gets 14,200 dollars and the Grey Roots Good People Aboriginal Festival in June will be getting 30,600 dollars.
The July Mount Forest Fireworks Festival will get 36 thsouand dollars.
Collingwood’s Elvis festival in July will get more than 56 thousand dollars.
Durham’s Festival of Fringe film in early August will be getting 37,500 dollars and the Markdale Fall fair receives $18,700 for its late August event.
Port Elgin’s Pumpkinfest in October will receive $48,700 from the Province.
