Quite a collection of police descending on a home in Nottawa.
Collingwood’s Crime Unit, Huronia West OPP officers and cops form the OPP Weapons Enforcement Unit went to a home in Nottawa at Noon yesterday.
They had a warrant and were looking for a gun.
A 357-Magnum and ammunition was dug up from a field just outside the village, where it had been buried.
Police aren’t saying whether the gun had been used in any crimes.
No arrests are reported in connection with the retrieval of the weapon, either, although police say the investigation is continuing.
