A new President is taking over at Durham Furniture.
Gord Dilworth is taking over as President and CEO as part of the restructuring of the company.
It follows the re-capitalizing and securing of a new long-term financing agreement.
Dilworth lives in Hanover with his wife Pauline, and is looking forward to this opportunity.
Dilworth has worked at Durham Furniture since December 2005 in the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and has previously held senior manufacturing positions at Stack a Shelf, Kroehler Furniture, Deilcraft Furniture, and Andrew Malcolm Furniture.
At Durham Furniture Dilworth has been instrumental in the companys return to profitability through the implementation of the principles of lean manufacturing.
Dilworth will continue to work with Ed Fritz, Director of Sales and Marketing, North America, in focusing on Durhams niche of solid wood residential bedroom furniture.
